SHAH ALAM, 23 Jan: The mere reshuffling of the Football Association of Selangor (FAS) will not promise easy success to the Selangor football team.

The Exco for Youth Generation Development and Sports, Amirudin Shari, said that careful planning and teamwork are needed to lead the team in a new direction.

“I want to say first that any changes will not happen immediately, but it will follow the proper process.

“The Chief Minister and I agree that what is important is that our team can compete in the league better and only then we will ensure development programmes.

He said that change is not just changing a few individuals in the management, but it must also be emphasised in the direction of the programme and implementation of an effective management system.

FAS will also resolve management issues and provide attention to the seasonal pass and football development.
