Wan Azizah: “This struggle of not for Anwar, but for the people”

PUTRAJAYA, 10 Feb: Despite being sad and disappointed, Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said that the five-year jail sentence against her husband, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, is a huge sacrifice.

Dr Wan Azizah said that her second experience of facing a situation where Anwar is being jailed is part of the struggle that she needs to go through.

“”Praise be to God, this is one of our struggles, perhaps a little sacrifice from among my circle, my children and grandchildren, but this is a real struggle, not to Anwar’s alone.
