MPSJ introduces initiative to appreciate employees

SHAH ALAM, 11 Mar: The Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) has introduced an initiative for its employees to improve motivation and quality of service in the administration of the local authority starting this year.

The Yang Dipertua of MPSJ, Datuk Nor Hisham Ahmad Dahlan, said that the top management of MPSJ has taken this initiative to improve appreciation for its employees to continue excellence in their work.

“Among those that will be awarded are medals for the state and federal levels for the second support group while an exemplary employee’s award (AWC) will be held four times a year, as well as an incentive worth RM300.

“In addition, consolation awards for main celebrations for the second support group staff will also be given,” he said during a speech at the MPSJ Outstanding Service Award Ceremony (APC) 2014 today.

He said that he hopes that these incentives can improve motivation of employees to provide the best services to customers.

At the event, a total of 122 people; 47 officers from the management and professional group and 75 officers from the support group, received MPSJ APCs.

Meanwhile, 16 retirees received the Jasamu Dikenang (Your Services Are Appreciated) award and five employees received the Sports Excellence Award.

He said that the human capital excellence is the most important element and asset to produce an efficient and effective public delivery system.

Also present was the State Government Secretary, Datuk Mohammed Khusrin Munawi.
