Pantas Selangor to go to Sabah to assist fire victims

SHAH ALAM, 13 Mar: The Selangor Humanitarian Aid Mission (Pantas) will go to Tawau, Sabah, on Saturday (March 14) to help in a humanitarian aid mission to help fire victims there.

The Pantas Director General, Hamsah Djabir, said that they will work with the PKR coordinator in Sabah in the effort to help most of the victims involved in the unfortunate incident that destroyed approximately 80 homes.

“On the basis of humanity, Pantas is taking the initiative to help as much as they can to reduce the burdens of the victims.

“Based on the information received, around 71 heads of families will be helped in this mission and we will look at the forms of necessities for the aid,” he told Selangor Kini today..

Hamsah said that the PKR coordinator in Sabah will channel all information necessary for this purpose because early action has been carried out by the Sabah Community Welfare Department (JKM).

He said that the Pantas delegation is expected to be there for four days until the coming Monday.
