SUNGAI BULOH, 27 Apr: The Selangor PAS sent offices of its election machinery to ensure the success of the PKR candidate, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.

The Selangor PAS Secretary, Mohd Khairuddin Othman, said that Selangor PAS officers were sent after he held a discussion with the PKR By-Election Campaign Director in Permatang Pauh.

“Tomorrow, I will personally go to Permatang Pauh to look into preparations such as logistics and so on.

“I also communicated with the Permatang Pauh PKR to obtain feedback on the requirements needed,” said Mohd Khairuddin to Selangor Kini during the Paya Jaras Assemblyman’s Cup Football Championship.

He said that the Selangor PAS machinery team will go to Permatang Pauh in stages.

The Permatang Pauh by-election is going to be held after the pardon from the family of the incumbent, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, regarding the Sodomy II case was rejected.

PKR nominated Wan Azizah to defend the seat and will face opponents from Barisan Nasional (BN), the Malaysian People’s Party (PRM) and an independent candidate.
