PERMATANG PAUH, 6 May: The Permatang Pauh by-election candidate, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, will work towards upgrading the Kampung Mengkuang Titi football field, as asked for by the residents.
This application was contained in the memorandum submitted to Dr Wan Azizah during the friendly match between Pilihan Pulau Pinang Legend and Pilihan Selangor Legend yesterday.
“They applied for the upgrading of the field and a small donation. I took note of the application because what asked for is valid and we can work on it,” she told Selangor Kini.
Dr Wan Azizah said that this is not the same practice as BN that makes election promises but fails to fulfil them, when the people personally handed the application to her.
She said that sporting activities are not only good for health but also cultivates good relations among the local community.
