Three UNISEL lecturers awarded the National Outstanding Educator Award 2015

SHAH ALAM, 19 May: Three lecturers from the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FSKTM), the University of Selangor (Unisel), have been selected as finalists for the National Outstanding Educator Award 2015.

Dr Suziyanti Marjudi, Dr Mohd Fahmi Amran and Faudzi Ahmad also received certificates of recognition in a ceremony held at the Kirkby International College recently.

“This proud success has also raised Unisel’s reputation nationwide.

“It is hoped to become an inspiration for the entire university community in achieving success in many areas,” said a statement issued by the Unisel Corporate Communications Office.

The programme organised by Koperasi Pendidikan Swasta Malaysia Berhad saw about 30 finalists being selected and 18 winners in various categories.

It is an effort to celebrate lecturers of private higher education institutions across the country in conjunction with Teacher’s Day on May 16.

A total of 250 representatives from various private institutions of higher learning attended the event which was also graced by the presence of the Deputy Education Minister II, P Kamalanathan.
