30 students from Indonesia’s Muhammadiyah University present initial study at UNISEL

SHAH ALAM, 11 June: 30 students from the Muhammadiyah University, Indonesia, participated in the 2nd Postgraduate Research Symposium 2015 that was held at the University of Selangor (UNISEL).

The Dean of Graduate Studies (CGS), Dr Aza Azlina Md Kassim, said that 75 participants involving 39 students presented preliminary studies.

“This symposium aims to provide students the opportunity to present thesis proposal ideas to be improved upon. Students from Indonesia also took part in participating.

“They also had the opportunity to accept criticism and suggestions from the evaluators,” she said after the launch of the symposium at the Shah Alam campus.

Dr Aza Azlina said that the symposium is the second held since last year when students from the August intake for the Bachelor and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) *Research) are required to participate.
