SHAH ALAM, 11 June: The idea of urging the Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali, to pick PAS or DAP to remain in the Selangor Pakatan Rakyat (PR) Government is deemed to be a ridiculous idea.

The PKR Vice President, Tian Chua, said that this is because the people of Selangor want a stable government instead of choosing PKR, PAS or DAP.

“This is nonsense, Pakatan picks the people of Selangor. Selangorians do not pick PAS, DAP or PKR, but gave the mandate to Pakatan in the last general election.

“That is why there is no issue of us picking PAS or DAP or PKR. This is an act of pitting due to internal problems in PAS and DAP.

“If DAP or PAS think that they cannot be together in the Pakatan framework to govern according to the wants of the people of Selangor, it would be better to surrender the mandate for them to reelect.

“This is baseless. There is no issue at all. It has nothing to do with the people of Selangor.

“The people of Selangor hope that their elected government can administer the state well according to what we promised,” said Tian Chua to Selangor Kini.

He said that this situation is being fueled by the actions of some individuals who purposely issued statements that it has sparked political tension.

“It is disappointing the people. I hope that we can stop this debate and focus on issues that are important to the people,” he said.
