BATANG BERJUNTAI, 14 June: The Selangor government and the Ministry of Energy, Green technology and Water (KeTTHA) are expected to issue a joint statement next week to officially announce the Selangor water restructuring agreement.

The Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali, informed that his meeting with the KeTTHA Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili, went well on June 11.

“It was a productive meeting and it is time to move forward,” he said when met at the University of Selangor (UNISEL).

Previously, both sides tried to resolve the Selangor water industry restructuring by reviving the master agreement within 60 days.

Mohamed Azmin said that he hopes that the matter can be finalised before Ramandan.
