‘Colour’ to realise the Shah Alam art city

SHAH ALAM, 12 June: The Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) is organising a cultural and arts programme with the theme of colour in the effort to realise Shah Alam as an art city on June 13.

The Corporate Department & Community Development Deputy Director, Shahrin Ahmad, said that the Warna Kasih Ramadan programme is to highlight knowledge programmes with the presence of artists Daqmie and Hisyam Lois.

“Among the art and cultural performances presented is by the Balle-Balle musical group, traditional dance and music from the Selangor State Culture and Art Department (JKKNS).

“The activities held are aimed at promoting the Laman Seni 7 to tourists to appreciate the art on display in the city of Shah Alam,” he said in a press statement.

Shahrin said for more information, the public may contact the MBSA Cultural Officer, Mohd Zulfahmee Ismail, at 013-3507888 or Shahrin Ahmad (013-3380551).
