PKNS presents RM100,000 in Zakat to the Selayang Hospital’s Malaysian Medical Welfare Fund

SHAH ALAM, 10 June: RM100,000 in Zakat contributions was presented by the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) to the Selayang Hospital’s Malaysian Medical Welfare Fund (TKPM).

The PKNS Public Relations Manager, Ishak Hashim, said that the contribution to help the Gharimn Recipients finance hospital costs and medical equipment required.

“This year alone, PKNS distributed the Zakat money for the social corporate responsibility (CSR) for the poor and needy, converts, fisabilillah and gharimin.

“PKNS has also extended assistance to the Klang Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital, TKPM, as the CSR in the distribution of Zakat money,” he said in a press statement.

Ishak said that PKNS also received recognition from Abdul Rahman Bin Auf Award 2014 from LZS for management and efficient of Zakat.

“The award received serves as a morale booster to the employees of PKNS in managing better to help patients in needs,” he said.
