PKNS will construct 103 more housing projects

SHAH ALAM, 24 June: The Selangor State Development Corporation plans to build 103 housing projects involving 17,520 housing units in the near future, said the PKNS General Manager, Azlan Md Alifiah.

He said that PKNS will spend RM100.5 million for corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects and RM29.2 million for entrepreneur development programmes.

“PKNS also submitted several proposals for development involving land owned by government-linked companies (GLCs) from other states.

“Up to now, PKNS has been working with the Selangor Agricultural Development Corporation (PKPS) to develop a site that is 10 acres at U5 Subang Bistari with a group sales volume (GSV) of RM1.2 billion,” he told Selangor Kini recently.

At the same time, Azlan said that PKNS will also outline the Strategic Planning Plan in the effort to ensure that it continues forward in achieving socio-economic growth.

“The eight main thrusts of the plan is PKNS as a trusted brand that is close to the hearts of customers, facilitates the ownership of property for socio-economic balance, optimizing revenue and profitability and new business ventures.

“In addition, PKNS is also strengthening governance and enhancing spirituality, providing excellent working atmosphere through integrity work, creating a generation of successful entrepreneurs and staff that are professional, competent and has high self-esteem,” he said.
