SHAH ALAM, 12 June: The Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) will send an Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU) letter regarding the route that collapsed at Tasik Puteri to Batu Arang since two weeks ago.
The Corporate Director, Mohamad Zin Masoad, said that MPS is unable to repair the road due to constraints that the road is on private land.
He said that the MPS has placed safety coned for users to be cautions when using the road.
“The alternative road is not recognised by the Public Works Department (JKR) and we do not know who is responsible for maintaining it.
“MPS will sent a letter to the ICU so that immediate action can be taken to ensure that users safety is guaranteed,” he told Selangor Kini.
Mohamad Zin informed that the road is a road that was promised to be developed by Barisan Nasional in the 13th General Election.
