Services of civil servants appreciated with Selangor medals

SHAH ALAM, 12 Aug: The services of Selangor civil servants continues to be rewarded with Selangor medals in conjunction with the 69th Birthday of the Sultan of Selangor.

A total of 176 people, with the majority being civil servants, received medals for the district of Hulu Selangor, Gombak, Hulu Langat, Kuala Langat, Kuala Selangor, Sabak Bernam and Sepang.

The presentation of the medals was carried out by the Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah, at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Silver Jubilee Hall in Shah Alam.

Also accompanying the Raja Muda was the Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali.

A total of 20 recipients received the Pingat Pekerti Terpilih (PPT) and 29 others received the Pingat Perkhidmatan Cemerlang Selangor (PPC).

Meanwhile, a total of 103 people were chosen to receive the Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (PJK) and 24 others received the Pingat Perkhidmatan Selangor (PPS).

Meanwhile, the Principal of Sekolah Kebangsaan Clyster Bandar Baru Bangi, Zarina Abd Majid, who received the PPC, expressed that she was being appreciated for her 8 years of service as a Principal.

“The award is the highest award I have received throughout y 33 years of service as a civil servant until I became a Principal.

“The granting of this medal inspired me to continue serving better,” she said.

Meanwhile, the Kuala Selangor District Council (MDKS) Assistant Administrator, Fuad Ridzo Jumali, said that the medal is the biggest award throughout his 33 years of service.

“I never thought that my hard work would be finally appreciated and recognised with the awarding of this PPS medal,” he said.
