KUALA LUMPUR, 19 Oct: The Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, continues to show the ‘stripes’ of this pride when he refused to answer questions concerning the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) scandal at the House of Commons.
His actions seemed to reflect the ‘immunity’ he said of the hot issue even in the Dewan Rakyat.
Gooi Hsiao Leung (Alor Setar – PKR) said that Najib’s actions clearly denies the people’s rights to obtain information about the 1MDB issue.
“If the MPs in Dewan Rakyat denies the right to seek clarification, what more the people,” said Hsiao Leung at a press conference at the Parliament lobby today.
He said that 1MDB is a very important issue that effects the national economic and political stability.
