SUNGAI UDANG, JUL 19: The Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah will continue to focus on the development of youth in the entire state.

The Raja Muda said that his efforts will be concentrated around Selangor Youth Community (SAY) development projects that will connect Selangor youth with development opportunities.

“We will continue to develop SAY as a platform to develop youth in Selangor.

“The initiatives include SAY’s commitment to go down to the ground to participate in various community activities in the entire state,” Tengku Amir said.

Tengku Amir was speaking to reporters when he was met at the Junior Officers’ Commissioning Ceremony at Terendak Camp, Melaka.

The Raja Muda also touched on his meeting with Tengku Mahkota Johor Tengku Ismail (TMJ) the previous week to discuss the prospects of youth development in Selangor and Johor.

“During my meeting with TMJ, we shared views and information about youth development issues that involve both our states.

“It was a very interesting discussion because I was able to glean some ideas and experience from TMJ regarding his initiatives, such as football development and other issues,” Tengku Amir said.

The Raja Muda had previously founded SAY as his platform to reach out to the youth in Selangor.

SAY continuously engages youth through community projects as well as conducting charity works to those in need. One of SAY’s projects is organising art activities within Shah Alam.
