“We hope the initiative can help these students further their education and eventually become catalysts in national development,” he said.

The State Government had allocated RM20.9 million for educational loans and RM60 million for the purpose of improving the education system.

At the same time, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali identified the potential of UNISEL to vigorously undertake the Smart Selangor vision in the state’s educational development.

He said changes in the state’s education policies are vital to producing graduates who are competitive at high levels.

“We need a paradigm shift in our education system. This requires a holistic education system to produce graduates who not only excel academically but also morally,” he said.
