SHAH ALAM, SEP 6: Selangor’s mission to attract more foreign investors was intensified by a visit by Investment, Small & Medium Industries, Trade and Transport Exco Dato’ Teng Chang Khim to Taipei on September 4.

The trip was part of his investment mission and framework before attending the Port City International Conference in the country.

Among the agenda was a private meeting with Taipei Mayor Dr Eric Liluan Chun to discuss investment prospects between both parties.

Teng also visited Yunlin to witness a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing between Yunlin and Halal International Selangor.

On June 19, a state delegation was sent to Taiwan to survey commercial investments potential between Selangor and the foreign country.

Teng had earlier informed that the mission also had the chance to discuss the investment direction of a company in Taipei, Gigoro, in Selangor.

The State Government has always provided a conducive environment for foreign investors to widen their trade opportunities here.

The openness is ultimately seen as Selangor capability in promotion, besides fostering cooperation with potential investors, companies as well as other potential commercial parties.
