KAPAR, OCT 16: As many as 236 victims from 53 families have been moved to a flood relief centre at Dewan Serbaguna Kampung Tok Muda as of 12:15 am.

The victims, all residents of Kampung Tok Muda, were moved since early last night.

Klang Municipal Council (MPK) Pantas Squad Disaster Monitoring Officer Mohd Khairi Ahmad Zaid said preparations to help flood victims due to high tides are more organised than before.

“Pantas has sent 12 officers to several locations to monitor the water level.

“We are joined by members from the police, Fire and Rescue Department, Civil Defense Department and Malaysian Rescue Disasters Agency,” said Mohd Khairi.

He said this to SelangorKini at the Dewan Serbaguna Kampung Tok Muda.
