SHAH ALAM, NOV 21: The State Government has come up with its own initiative to help army veterans increase their income through Program Latihan Keusahawan Veteran Angkatan Tentera Malaysia.

Education, Human Capital Development, Science, Technology and Innovation Exco Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad said the programme, which is a collaboration with HIJRAH Selangor, was held at De Palma Hotel, Shah Alam for two days starting November 21.

“This programme emphasises entrepreneurial training to help army veterans, who have contributed so much to the country, have a good constant stream of income; besides having the opportunity to earn some money through business.

“This is also a form of preparation for them to be involved in their areas of interests and to expand the scope,” he said in a statement.
