SHAH ALAM, SEP 21: Six local authorities and one State Government agency received the Slope Danger and Risk Map (PBRC) Production Project Output from the Malaysian Geoscience and Mineral Department (JMG).

PBRC Deputy Director, Tuan Rusli Tuan Mohamed said, he is confident the map can help authorities to have a better planning for development around risky areas.

“We can also identify slopes with development on it but also have some problems,” he said at the Flood Management Unit media conference at Bilik Gerakan Kerajaan Negeri at Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Building yesterday.

He hopes mitigation plans implementation processes can be done more efficiently with lower cost.

Tuan Rusli had handed over the PBRC to seven recipients witnessed by Selangor State Disaster Management Unit Head, Ahmad Fairuz Mohd Yusof.
