菲律宾棉兰老岛发生6.6级地震

（菲律宾29日讯）菲律宾南部的棉兰老岛地区今早约9时发生6.6级地震，震源深度较浅，预计将造成破坏。

据报道，今次的地震震源深度为1万米。根据美国地质勘探局消息，这次地震的震源深度较浅，暂时没有海啸威胁。

当地的建筑物在地震发生时格格作响，当地民众受惊吓后纷纷逃到街上避难。

菲律宾当局表示，强震发生在达沃省附近，预计会造成破坏，目前暂时没有接获人员伤亡的报道。

据此前报道，在当地时间10月16日晚上约7时30分，菲律宾棉兰老岛曾发生6.3级地震。地震导致至少5人死亡，数十人受伤，数十座建筑物受损。
