SHAH ALAM, 12 June: Participants of the Selangor young Assemblymen programme will be tightened to youths who are interested but inexperienced.

The Selangor State Assembly Speaker (DNS), Hannah Yeoh, said that the selection is prioritised to those who have not participated in any assembly sessions.

“In the last programme, many of them gave great presentations because they have participated in similar activities such as the Perdana Fellows 2015.

“For the next programme, new participants with no experience will be selected to unearth hidden talents and provide them with new experiences,” she told Selangor Kini.

Hannah said that the programme will also be shortened because it can be seen as more effective compered to the previous session that lasted three days and two nights.

“The state government also wants to provide an opportunity for the young people to share opinions and new ideas on the issues of youth and education,” she said.
