“Cooperation between the state government and teachers is necessary so that our children benefit from policies being carried out, regardless whether it is by the state or other parties,” he told Selangor Kini after the School Assistance Distribution Ceremony 2015 for Hulu Langat today.

Prior to that, Nik Nazmi said that the concept of aid distribution is being carried out so that it reaches the target group and the people can enjoy it.

He said that the state government takes the education sector seriously, especially the school level, like the Malay proverb ‘melentur buluh biar dari rebungnya’ (to bend a bamboo, start when it’s still a shoot).

“The generation today is the Generation Y which is exposed to the rapid spread of science and technology without boundaries.

“When you talk about education, we are talking about character formation which can uplift the dignity of a nation or civilization,” he said.
