SHAH ALAM, 6 May: A group of senior citizens were briefed about the reformation process which has been carried out since Pakatan Rakyat took over the administration of the Selangor government.

“With that, the people will know and understand what we are doing and not just knowing it through news only,” said the Selangor State Government Assembly (DNS) Speaker, Hannah Yeoh.

A total of 44 senior citizens from the Senior Citizens Club Subang Jaya aged between 60 to 85 years visited the DNS Conference Hall for the briefing on the intricacies of the legislative process.

According to studies, most of the support for Pakatan Rakyat comes from the young people while the rest are afraid to make changes.

Until now, Hannah said that the DNS has received over 300 visitors since the beginning of the year and hopes that the number will grow over time.

“We welcome societies, associations and schools to visit. Whether from within or outside Selangor. Last year, we brought the heads of longhouses in Sabah and Sarawak here.

“We also want the DNS to be close and friendly with the people, regardless of age,” he said.
