The people want the water structuring resolved immediately, avoid from continuously being victims

SHAH ALAM, 13 Nov: The people of Selangor hope for the water industry restructuring to be solved immediately and properly implemented to ensure that their basic needs are managed responsibly.

More importantly for the people, the prolonged water issue that has affected their lives should no longer repeat, especially when faced with unscheduled water rationing.

8.1

Syahirul Adli, 28, who lives in an apartment in Kota Kemuning was forced to go to the mosque to bathe during the previous water rationing crisis.

Admitting that he received benefit from the 20 cubic meters of free water, he said that the water restructuring would hopefully benefit the people whole minimising water supply problems in Selangor.

“I personally had to bathe at the mosque when the crisis took place.

“Although I am still a bachelor, such a situation is rather painful, especially for families. What is important in this water issue is that the people of Selangor continue to benefit from it,” he told Selangor Kini today.

He said that the people will continue to be victims is the crisis is prolonged.

Meanwhile, Mohd Al Fareez Ismail, 27, said that what is important is that this prolonged crisis is resolved will and he hopes that the water crisis will not happen again.

He also stressed that the free water when the administration of Selangor was given to Pakatan Rakyat and that it should be maintained because it be helpful, especially to low income earners.

“What is important now is that the restructuring should be concluded immediately. Enough with the sufferings of the people of Selangor in this issue,” said Al Fareez who lives in Puncak Alam.
