Selangor PAS remains with Pakatan Rakyat

SHAH ALAM, 13 Aug: Selangor PAS stated their commitment to remain in Pakatan Rakyat by sticking to their principles.

The Selangor PAS Commissioner, Iskandar Abdul Samad, said that PAS will keep the interests of Pakatan Rakyat in the government.

“PAS will leave the government if UMNO Assemblymen are appointed as Exco members and not ask for PAS Assemblymen to be appointed as Exco,” said Iskandar in a press statement.

Iskandar said that PAS has made a big sacrifice to remain in the government.

“We are doing it so that government plans and programmes can be continued so that the people are not at a loss as a result of this crisis.

“We also want to ensure that Umno does not take advantage of the current situation but we run the risk of being accused of betraying Pakatan Rakyat,” said Iskandar.
