Federal Government Urged to Expose Location of MH370, Mahfuz Volunteered to be ‘Hostage’

KUALA LUMPUR, 17 Mar: The Federal Government has been urged to immediately disclose the exact location of the Malaysia Airlines MH370 aircraft which has been suspected to have been hijacked since its disappearance was reported on 8 March.

The Member of Parliament for Pokok Sena, Mahfuz Omar, said that the move is to allow Pakatan Rakyat (PR) leaders, especially himself, to be used as ‘hostage’ to save the 239 passengers and crew members involved.

“If the aircraft is in a certain location, the government should immediately inform of it and I am ready to be hostage,” he said at the Dewan Rakyat today.

Mahfuz, who is also the PAS Information Chief, said that he also suspects that negotiations between the federal Government and those involved in in the case have already begun.

The MH370 aircraft was reported missing from the radar about two hours after the flight began from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing on 8 March.

Following that, the Malaysian government announced that 25 countries are currently involved in the Search and Rescue Operation, including Pakistan.

Apart from the country, the Malaysian government has also made the same request to Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, India, China, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and Australia.
