“Before the government and Datuk Seri Shahidan say that we did not write a not so a briefing cannot be arranged.

“With this letter (note), we hope that there will be no more excuses from the government,” he said at the Parliament Lobby.

The note proposed for the briefing to be held next Tuesday at 8.30pm, at the Parliament House Briefing Room.

“We hope that Datuk Shahidan will arrange this briefing and that it will be personally presented by the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak and the acting Minister of Transport, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein.

“If there are no changes, we expect to be informed as soon as possible,” he said.

Meanwhile, the MP for Gelang Patah, Lim Kit Siang, reiterated his call for a Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) to be established as soon as possible before the Dewan Rakyat session is adjourned next week.

This is because it is already day 27 since the aircraft went missing and the batteries of the black box will run out, thus making the search mission difficult.
