Perangsang Selangor spends RM3.2 million to implement SGCS

SHAH ALAM, 1 July: Perangsang Selangor spent over RM3.2 million to implement the Selangor Graduates Career Stimulus Programme (SGCS).

The Perangsang Selangor Head of Public Relations, Amin Lin Abdullah, said that it includes courses to develop skills and entrepreneurial development, like providing job training, accommodation and food to over 1,000 participants in Selangor.

She said that Perangsang Selangor has also spent a total of RM159,393.00 for the purchase of livestock valued at RM45,000 and printing equipment worth RM45,000.

RM39,600 was spent on flour mixers and RM29,739 on sewing machines to be provided to participants to start their own business.

She said that the coursed to enhance skills that have been carried out includes Marina Staging, Islamic Banking and Finance, Halal Management and Operations, and Photoshop and Microsoft applications.

“Meanwhile, the entrepreneurial development courses which have been conducted include Instant Printing, Sewing Clothes, Animal Husbandry, Bakery and Mutawif Careers,” she said in a press statement.
