SHAH ALAM, 25 Oct: The Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali, explained that his mission now is to carry out his duties entrusted to him and lead the state government in the interest of the people.
“No, no. Now is the time to work. Not engage in politics. The time to engage in politics has passed,” he said in a media conference today.
Mohamed Azmin was commenting and denying allegations that there are efforts from within Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) that want him to take over the party Presidency from Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.
He expressed gratitude that his administration has the support from PAS< DAP and PKR.
“My responsibility is to fulfil the people’s aspirations. They want to see Selangor continue to grow well. Focus on work,” he said.
