YB ACTIVITY: The Batu Tiga Assemblywoman helps Taman Bunga Raya landslide victims

SHAH ALAM, 25 Oct: The former Selangor Welfare Exco, Rodziah Ismail, spent time visiting the location and victims of the landslide that happened at Taman Bunga Raya Bukit Beruntung, Hulu Selangor.

During the visit, the Batu Tiga Assemblywoman presented a small contribution to the families with help from the Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Women and Hulu Selangor Branch.

In a brief speech, she said that safety control of the residential infrastructure and the surroundings of the people should be emphasised.

“The developer should be responsible and made responsible to correct the situation and shortcomings that do not meet initial specifications.

“Everyone is trusted to take care and monitor the people’s safety and should monitor in detail things that may bring about safety risks and loss of life.

“I hope they stay strong and calm in facing this challenge and go back to living their lives as usual,” she said.

It is understood that 1,076 residents, including adults, children and babies, have been moved to two evacuation centres at Sekolah Kebangsaan Bunga Raya 1 and 2.
