“When Ahmad Maslan was asked in Parliament, he vehemently denied that there was the letter of support.

“However, when asked by the media, he admitted that the letter of support existed,” he said, quoted from The Malaysian Insider today.

Rafizi said that he sent a letter to the speaker to refer Ahmad to the Special Parliamentary Committee after seeing that the actions of the Deputy Finance Minister was clearly misleading the House.

“Because Ahmad Maslan’s denial in Parliament has been recorded in the hansard, there is record and evidence indicating that he is misleading the House.

“And we have sent the letter to the Speaker on this matter this morning,” he said.
