MBSA hopes that responsible agencies will resolve the Jalan Bukit Hijau issue immediately

SHAH ALAM, 10 Dec: The Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) hopes that relevant agencies will act to resolve the Jalan Bukit Hijau 26/24 issue immediately.

Its Deputy Corporate Director, Shahrin Ahmad, said that they have held talks with the Public Works Department (PWD) and the Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) regarding the issue.

He said that discussions were conducted because the matter involves action from both these agencies.

“During the meeting, some suggestions to improve it were brought up and action from relevant agencies is hoped for.

“We want this problem to be resolved immediately for the welfare and comfort of road users, especially for those living in the area,” he said.

Yesterday, Selangor Kini published a complaint from a resident of Section 26, Alfazril Awaludin, 31, regarding the status of Jalan Bukit Hijau 26/24 which is filled with curb structures.

He said that the construction resulted in only one vehicle pass through at any given time.

“It is troubling those of us who live in the housing area.

“Every evening when going back from work, congestion occurs because cars from both sides want to pass through the road where the curb is being built,” he said yesterday.
