Solidarity for Major Zaidi in Madrasah Art Poetry reading on Feb 13

SHAH ALAM, 9 Feb: People’s Artists Axis, or Paksi, continues to defend those oppressed by holding a Solidarity for Major Zaidi programme for the monthly Madrasah Art Poetry Reading (BPMS) programme on Friday, February 13, at 9 pm.

Its President, Dinsman, said that National Laureate, Datuk Dr Anwar Ridhwan, will also be present to briefly discuss the novel Nenek (grandmother) by Razali Endun.

He added that the monthly Paksi programme is organised every second Friday of the month at the compound of Madrasah Tarbiah, Kg Bandar Dalam, Jalan Gombak, Kuala Lumpur, which is also known by its nickname Art Madrasah.

Dinsman said that apart from Paksi poets, several prominent poets who have agreed to attend includes Pyanhabib, Pak Ijamala, Mohd Daud Mohd (Kalam), Yassin Salleh (Director of the film Ali Setan), Melati Rahim (DAP), Shamsiah Ismail (PKR), Dato Tarmizi Mohd Jam (Legasi), Mat Fadli El Labuani, Tukar Tiub and Nassury Ibrahim.

The Paksi BPMS programme is expected to attract and gather many national poetry fans around the Klang Valley.

Meanwhile, the Exco for Paksi, Kassim Muhamad, invited poets and fans to share information on the Art Madrasah WhatsApp group that is being run by Paksi.

“Those interested can send their WhatsApp phone numbers to me at 012-4753516.

“God willing, I will list you in this WhatsApp group,” he said.
