SHAH ALAM, 26 Feb: The Chief Executive Officer of National Feedlot Corporation Sdn Bhd (NFC), Datuk Seri Mohamad Salleh Ismail, failed again to cancel the two charges for breach of trust against him in the appeal filed at the Kuala Lumpur High Court today.
The appeal was heard by High Court Judge Datuk Mohd Azman Husin.
Citing Malaysia Kini, last year, Salleh failed in his first attempt to cancel the charges at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court on charges related to the use of funds for a controversial National Feedlot project.
The failure of the NFC project managed by Salleh, who is also the husband to the Wanita Umno Chief, Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil, and their children, was disclosed in the Auditor General’s annual report.
Salleh has a last chance to appeal against the charges at the Court of Appeal.
