26 storm victims in Sekinchan receive RM300

SHAH ALAM, 25 May: A total of 26 storm victim recipients in Sekinchan received an assistance of RM300 which was presented by its Assemblyman, Ng Suee Lim, at a ceremony at the Nurul Falah Hall recently.

Suee Lim said that the contribution is to alleviate the catastrophe of disaster that hit the victims.

“We hope that it would help the victims a little in repairing the damages to their homes,” he said.

Selangor Kini understands that the recipients’ homes were damaged by a storm that hit in April.

At the same time, Suee Lim wants the people of Sekinchan to take the opportunity to apply for the Hijrah Scheme introduced by the state government to those interested in business.

“No interest is charged. It is the proper channel for borrowers and to avoid the people from borrowing from loan sharks.

“The state government also wants to help the people increase their income and facilitate taking out loans because of the relaxation of conditions compared to bank loans,” he said.
