SHAH ALAM, 28 May: Private companies and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) are invited to work together and organise sports competitions involving women in Bukit Gasing.

The Bukit Gasing Assemblyman, Rajiv Rishyakaran, said that this is because sports can be a medium to unite the people.

“Private companies and NGOs are invited to work with the Assemblyman’s Office to organise any sports competition because this can foster the community relationship here.

“Private companies should make this as their social service responsibility and for those interested, you can come see me anytime to talk,” said Rajiv.

He said this during a press conference at the Bukit Gasing Assemblyman’s Community Service Centre.

He added that the Bukit Gasing Assemblyman’s Office is also ready to help if anyone wants to make the sporting events they are organising an annual event.

Rajiv added that in addition to strengthening community relationship, sports among women can be used as a regular activity in the evenings for recreational purposes.
