Five Malaysians died in crane crash buried

SHAH ALAM, 16 Sept: The five Malaysian who died in the crane tragedy that happened at Masjidil Haram last Friday were safely buried this morning.

The Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom, said that these Malaysians, who were previously placed at the morgue for the identification process, were taken to Masjidil Haram to be prayed for.

“The remains were previously placed at the Muaissem morgue in Mina before being buried at the Tanah Haram cemetary,” he said, taken from Sinar Harian.

The five Malaysians confirmed to have died in the tragedy are Rusiah Suar, 56, from Sungkai, Perak; Siti Nurolshlizan Zolkifli, 37, from Tanah Merah; Rohana Ismail, 54, from Kuala Krai, Kelantan; and Munah Jusoh, 73, from Cherang Ruku, Kelantan; as well as Zainun Taha, 69, from Ampang, Selangor.

He said that two other Malaysians are still missing in the incident that killed more that 100 people are Abdul Habib Lahman, 68, from Sik, Kedah, and Shahidan Saad, 52, from Kodiang, Kedah.

“Tabung Haji, through the Southeast Asia Muassah, are still trying to locate the two other Malaysians who are still missing in the crane incident,” he said.
