SHAH ALAM, 19 Sept: Petaling continues to lead in the Selangor Games (SUKSES) 2015 at the top of the medal table.

The defending champions collected 45 gold, 29 silver and 36 bronze, leaving Klang (26 gold, 31 silver, 29 bronze) in second place and other districts in the biennial games that will end tomorrow.

Yesterday, the district added five golds through karate-do (three) and badminton (two), while Gombak only obtained one from karate-do.

Other districts, Klang, Sepang, Hulu Langat and Kuala Selangor, obtained one gold each from lawn bowling.

There are 109 remaining medals up for grabs, all districts are placing their hopes on their athletes in events like badminton, volleyball, lawn bowling and football.

Although it is almost at the end, Petaling will certainly not have an easy route to increase medals and distance themselves from other districts.

May SUKSES continue in the spirit of sportsmanship exhibited by the young athletes of Selangor.
