SHAH ALAM, 22 May: Pakatan Rakyat (PR) will continue to protest against the unclean and unfair GE-13, stressed Petaling Jaya Member of Parliament, Tony Pua.
Thus, the Federal Territory and Selangor DAP will host a Pakatan Rakyat Thanksgiving Assembly as follows:
Date: 23th May 2013 (Thursday)
Time: 7 pm
Place: East Field, Petaling Jaya (front of Amcorp Mall)
“We also want to thank the voters for giving tremendous support to Pakatan Rakyat in the Federal Territory and Selangor.
“Pakatan Rakyat did not only successfully defend the power in Selangor, but we have increased the number of seats and majority obtained by our candidates,” said Tony in a press statement.
Also invited as speakers are Lim Kit Siang, Nurul Izzah Anwar, Khalid Samad, Zaid Ibrahim, Tamrin Ghafar, Teresa Kok, Teng Chang Khim, Tan Kok Wai and others.
“We also want to thank the police for cooperating to hold this (event).
“The police will help control traffic. To further reduce traffic congestion, we encourage attendees to use the Taman Jaya LRT system,” said Tony.
