“Among what said by the Sultan is for the state to have priority in implementing policies and he personally said that the Maqasid Syariah concept is in line with the demands of Islam today in the development of a state,” he told reporters after the DNS adjourned today.

He said that the Sultan of Selangor’s attention on the issue of education and housing is also a particular focus of the state government.

“This is in line with state government policies today that wants to see the development of affordable housing being given special attention and also education because we have two universities, the University of Selangor (Unisel) and the Selangor International Islamic University College (Kuis).

“We want both these universities to produce graduates that have knowledge and can compete in today’s market,” he said.
