PJ residents can now channel complaints through Facebook

SHAH ALAM, 24 Mar: An MBPJ complaints Facebook page is being provided to facilitate residents of Petaling Jaya in filing complaints so that immediate action can be taken.

The Bukit Gasing Assemblyman, Rajiv Rishyakaran, said that the public can visit www.facebook.com/mbpjaduan to channel any complaints by the people.

“This system is consistent with the MBPJ plan to serve the community in a more efficient way which allows issues to be solved in a shorter period of time.

“Complainants can upload texts and media such as pictures and videos directly to the Facebook page, which is currently being managed by two staff members.

“All complaints with sufficient information will be given a reference number in a period of 1 working day,” he said in a press statement.

However, if there are any complaints that failed to be solved within the prescribed period, the complaint will not be left alone, instead it will be brought to the attention of the higher authorities.

MBPJ hopes that the residents of Petaling Jaya will use the complaints system to receive better service from MBPJ.
