SHAH ALAM, JUL 13: The water level at the Sungai Selangor dam continues to be at an encouraging level of 66.93% or 153.95 cubic metres.
Based on the Selangor Water Management Board (LUAS) website, rainfall in the area is at the rate of 13.10 mm.
Meanwhile, water level at Batu Dam is at 63.16% and at Klang Gates Dam, it is at 55.14%.
The water level at Sungai Labu Catchment Pond is at 49.65% while at Langat Dam, it is at 74.06%.
Besides that, the water level at Semenyih dam is at 79.47%, Sungai Tinggi dam at 73.13% and Tasik Subang dam at 71.03%.
The Sungai Selangor Dam – with a dimension of 400 metres width, 800 metres length and 110 metres height – is capable of supplying approximately 60% of treated water to Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Selangor.
