KLANG, SEP 18: A group of residents who became flood victims at Kampung Tok Muda, today received immediate aid from Sementa Assemblyman Dr Daroyah Alwi.

Daroyah who is also Health, Welfare, Women and Family Affairs Exco, visited the victims at the affected village.

In a post on her Facebook account, Daroyah said that she provided immediate aid in the form of breakfast and lunch.

“As many as 150 packets of food were prepared for distribution to the affected residents.

“We advised the affected victims to provide us their names and identification card numbers so that we can lodge police reports and to be able to provide some immediate aid,” she said.

Around 40 houses at the village were affected when high tides swept in and flooded their houses at around 5:30 am.

She said that the Sementa constituency will always be prioritised and rural development will continue regardless of race and religion.
