Sukses: Petaling dominates cycling, Hulu Langat in archery

SHAH ALAM, 11 Sept: The Selangor Sports (Sukses) 2015 cycling event yesterday saw Petaling overcoming rivals when they won three gold medals out of the four events contested.

Cycling also contributed two silver and one bronze medal for the champions of Sukses 2013.

Petaling swept clean the medals in the 12km men’s time trial through Muhsin Alredha Misbah (gold), Muhammad Izat Tolha (silver) and Zamarul Adlisyem Zulkifli (bronze).

Kuala Selangor, that won the sold gold medal, did so through the 1km men’s time trial through Fadhil Zonis.

Hulu Langat excelled in archery when they won two gold medals from the four events.

Muhammad Ikram Mohd Zaidi and Siti Farahizati Masron enlivened the district’s camp with gold in the 90m men’s recurve and the 70m women’s compound.

The men’s 90m compound was won by Muhammad Khairuzaman Ali from Gombak while the 70m women’s recurve gold medal was won by Fatin Izzatie Mohammad Noris (Petaling).

In tenpin bowling, the four-men team event was won by Hulu Selangor, followed by Kuala Langat (silver) and Gombak (bronze).

While the gold for the four-women team event was won by Petaling, followed by Kuala Langat (silver) and Hulu Langat (bronze).
