The Selangor State Assembly Deputy Speaker, Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, said that the trainees will be exposed to sessions of the Selangor State Assembly and the Dewan Rakyat proceedings.

“Although it is an executive training, the do not have to always sit at the office or go to Parliament in a tie and coat, but should fold up their sleeves and meet the grassroots community,” he said.

Nik Nazmi hopes that early exposure to the world of real politics may provider a line-up of political successors who are competent and able to face challenges.

In the training, trainees will be working with some young politicians of PKR who will serve as their mentor throughout the programme.
