BN Gives 4 Years and 6 Months of Suffering, Demure for the Last Six Months

KAJANG, 27 Dec: Barisan Nasional (BN) is able to keep winning in every General Election (GE), thus continuing dominance in Putrajaya by using the tactic of only doing good things for the last six months prior to the election.

Whereas, four years and six months before that, BN will do as they please by pressuring the people thoroughly, through a series of increases in price of necessary goods and services or commit wastage, corruption and leakages.

The Malaysia PAS Assembly Youth Chief, Suhaizan Kayat, said that the strategy is able to influence some of the voters who can be swayed by racial issues played by BN.

“BN can raise prices, be involved in abuse of power and corruption for four years and six months. During this period, they will use it as best possible. But in the last six months, they will be so demure that even when they step on an ant, it will not die (a Malay proverb).

“At that time, BN will come with a package. The first is to offer a wide range of assistance such as easy loans, the 1Malaysia People’s Aid (BR1M) and so on. Secondly, they will bring in the threat of racism, which is if Pakatan Rakyat (PR) wins, the Chinese will rule or that PR has links with Singapore to form a government together.

“Four year and six months, they (the people) will be angry with them (BN). But just in the six months that BN does good things, the period is over. That’s the Malays,” he said in the ‘Reduce the Cost of Living’ Youth Discourse at the KK Hotel last night.

Suhaizan said that the people should be equipped with political education on an ongoing basis to enable them to choose a government that is capable of shouldering their trust with responsibility throughout the five years before the next election period arrives.

“PAS thinks that we can use the strategy of welfare. We practice welfare for five years and it shows results, but the last six months, BN will do one big thing (welfare), and everything will be upside down because they use huge government funds.

“Some of the Malays do not think that their vote has anything to do with the rising prices and are busy thinking about other issues. Meanwhile, when BN wins, various policies will be implemented that troubles them, such as the Goods and Services Tax (GST),” he said.
