Meanwhile, 83 percent of respondents agree with the by-election and considers Lee’s resignation as not affecting them.

“The results are clear, only 17 percent do not agree with this by-election, and looking at their profile, the majority of them are hardcore BN supporters.

“21 percent of respondents want to know what the new candidate can do for their DUN (State Legislative Assembly), 26 percent says that it does not affect them, 26 percent more support the move and 17 percent disagree,” he said in a press conference here at the PKR Headquarters.

The survey on the people’s reaction towards Lee’s resignation was carried out on 361 Kajang voters recently.

Meanwhile, the PKR de facto leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, assumes that there is no dissatisfaction among voters if he takes care of the people’s interests.

“It is important for us to safeguard the welfare of the voters. Issues that are dominant at the moment are local issues,” he said.
